Thief - Book Review

Blurb

Sean Sparrow has one more job to pull: break into the bank, steal what he was hired to take, and get out. He plans everything to the very last detail, sure of success... until he sees Tessa.

Tessa Martin lives a humdrum life. With a boring job and a crappy roommate, she's sure there must be more to life than this. She's not prepared for the muscle-bound bearded man who walks into her life, offering her everything she's ever wanted.

When Sean breaks down all of Tessa's walls, she has no choice but to fall hard and fast. But when the truth comes out, and Sean is fully revealed to her, will their instalove be enough to hold them together?

Warning: This book hero is over- the-top obsessed, totally head over heels in love, and desperate to make babies with the heroine ASAP. If you want a fun read with SUPER hot steam, Kindle-melting love, and a beard to rub between thighs, then this book is for you.

4 Stars

Sean has one last job to do and then he'll be sitting pretty. As part of the job he needs to get cozy with curvy bank teller, Tessa. Which he's more than ok with!

Things heat up between them. Sean decides she is his and claims her, even if she doesn't know it. But will she stay even after he does his last job? He needs to make sure she is addicted to him in all ways.

This is a quick read. A good dirty story between two adults. I like both Tessa and Sean. The plot was good and the story flowed nicely. I felt all of Tessa's insecurities and all of Sean's love for her. Beautiful story.

Erotic Romance   #InnocentEyesTour Add to your Goodreads TBR Synopsis: "If he's gross, I'm bailing."  That's what I said to my supposed best friend when she asked me to take her place. A blind date, she said. What harm could it do?  He was charming. Beautiful. God's finest creation. He wined me and dined me. Made me do things I'd never before dreamt of in the bedroom. It was perfect. Dangerous. Arousing.  But Jenny didn’t tell me the full story. She didn’t tell me about the debt she owed. And now Quinn Cane wants his money's worth, and he’s going to make me pay whatever way he can.  “A debt needs to be paid.” The woman who came to meet me didn’t owe me money. I could tell by her innocent eyes.  Still, the debt will be paid either way. She was something to play with and use as I saw fit, but something about Emily Brooks made me want to keep her. So she became my dirt…

Lauren:

Graham is my brother's best friend. He’s always been my protector and my confident because he accepts me the way I am—and not many do. I can’t imagine not having him in my life.
Our weekend together was supposed to be a celebration. I graduated from college, Graham got engaged and signed with a pro football team, and my brother landed his dream job. It should have been the best time of our lives.

Except that the weekend started with me walking in on Graham's fiancée going down on my brother.

I complicated the situation by having sex with Graham after that, but I wanted to comfort him and, damn, when I saw desire in his eyes—for me—I couldn’t say no. I’ve wanted him for so long.

Now he doesn’t want to see me. He says he has a darker side he needs to protect me from.

Where do we go from here? Do I try to pretend to be his friend again or push him to open up to me and possibly lose him forever?
