Hung - Book Review

I bought into the hype.  It's not the first time, it's not the last time.  I saw that the teasers for Hung were reported for being naughty.  Then I saw the inspiration for Biscuit - DREAMY.  Then I saw the cover.  Read the blurb and took the plunge!!   Now it might sound like I didn't care for the book, since I bought into the hype.  See below....

Stand-alone. No cheating, no sex outside the relationship, no love triangles, no club whores, HEA, no cliffhanger.

Being raised by my asshole police officer father and my subservient mother, I went to college with a penchant for outlaw alpha males. I knew Dalton Biskette was in the Selected Sinners MC, and a bad boy; but the night he walked into my bar I had no idea how bad he really was. He was tall, covered in tattoos, had gauged ears, was muscular, and had awesome beard. Just watching him walk was enough to make my lady bits itch, but after our first night together I found out although he was a bad boy, he was really good at some things...

He was perfect in my eyes.

My police officer father disagrees…

And so does my former Marine ex-boyfriend who just got out of jail.

The license plate on my bike says it all – RFOF – Ride, Fuck, Or Fight.

I’ve never met a girl who made me stop and pay attention to her until I met Kat. Kat's tall and gorgeous and is able to take all I can sexually dish out without complaint. There’s only one problem, her father’s a cop.

And I hate cops.

If he thinks he can stop me from fucking his daughter, he’s as wrong as the day is long.

HUNG is a stand-alone MC Romance with an HEA, and is book IV in theSelected Sinners series of stand-alone full length novels. This novel is 71,000 words of action-packed erotic romance. There is no cheating, nor is there sharing of partners, but the sex is detailed, graphically depicted, and frequent. No other book is required to tell this tale. PLEASE be over 18 to enjoy this book.

3.5 Stars

This is my first time I've read any of the Selected Sinner's MC series.  It is a true stand alone.  YEAH!

Where to start?  Biscuit, would be good.  Dalton Biskette, grew up in a terrible home, with a drunk father.  So he ran away and now make bikes.  He also doesn't wear a condom with any of the women he's with - cringe.  I loved Biscuit when he wasn't running his mouth bragging.  STFU.  Yeah, you have a massive cock, good for you.  Yes, you know how to use it, good for you!  But your broken and just use the women for your own pleasure.  But where I give Biscuit his kudos is his everlasting love for Kat.  He doesn't waiver, no matter what.  And this to me, makes up for all the bad about Biscuit, because he is a decent person, he just doesn't know how to go about it, until Kat.  Then it all kicks in and Biscuit becomes a man, instead of a child to me.

Kat grew up under the thumb of her dick cop of a dad.  Always kowtowing to his every whim.  Well, she's done with that.  She's an adult and she'll be damned if she ends up with someone safe.  She wants a bad boy to rub in her dad's face.  At first she thinks she's found the right one with Biscuit.  They have a FWB kind of relationship that they are both happy with.  Then Kat has a change of heart and wants more.  Luckily for her so does Biscuit.  And they live Happily Ever After...Or do they?

Don't get me wrong this story was good.  But I couldn't connect to Kat or Biscuit.  I thought she was an idiot the first time in the bar.  But then realized, she was just showing off for Biscuit.  Been there, done that.  This would be a perfect rainy day read, where you could cuddle up on the couch and enjoy.
