Pretty Little Werewolf - book review

All Giselle ever wanted was a family... who can accept her for what she is, a werewolf.
In a world where supernatural creatures are not out and proud, this has been a problem for 16 year old Giselle. A child of the system, she's been bounced from home to home for as long as she can remember. As soon as the moon calls out her inner wolf, it's back into the system she goes.
Against the odds, a new family is found for Giselle. One that may prove the answer to all her dreams and wishes. But this family comes with a deadly secret that could send Giselle six feet under instead of back into the system.
Amid factions of warring witches and werewolves, and deadly curses with no hope for a cure, the way will not be an easy one, but if Giselle can call upon her skills as a lone wolf, she may just be able to unearth the truth keeping her from the one thing she's ever wanted... family.

3 Stars

I read this book while lounging by the pool, drink in my hand, music all around.

Giselle is a child of the system, bouncing around from home to home, due to her unique situation.  She can't control it and sometimes its a real howler.  When she is giving the chance at a forever home, she realizes it might not be all that it seems.  Being the same doesn't mean it's perfect and Giselle needs to decide if this is what she wants in a forever family.

I could really connect with Giselle, she seemed a little dull in parts.  Then when it did leap forward, she still held back.  She was a fighter, she managed the system for years and yet, she was nothing more than a yes man.  With that being said, I liked how she evolved and changed.  She's an alpha, don't hide it, don't suppress it, let it out!!  Howl and bark and demand!!!!

This above all: to thine own self be true,

And it must follow, as the night the day,
Thou canst not then be false to any man.
Farewell, my blessing season this in thee!
